Services
Before launching your business in BC, you’ll need official approval for your chosen name. The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade streamlines this process by submitting your name request electronically to the provincial government on your behalf. By submitting with us, we save you time and ensure your submission meets all regulatory requirements.
Fees
- $75 including GST per search, in person
- An additional $100 for a priority search, which provides results within 24-48 hours
If you are ready to launch your business, the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade can register your sole proprietorship or general partnership on your behalf—quickly and hassle-free. Most registrations are completed within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).

Need another copy of your business registration? The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade can provide official duplicate documents for your sole proprietorship or general partnership upon request.

Statement of Registration

The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade can conduct a Company Search to access official information filed with the provincial registrar, helping you take legal action or verify corporate details. Note that you will need to provide the company name or incorporation number.

$55 + GST for each company search, in person or by email.
If you need to confirm your business is in compliance, the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade can provide an official Certificate of Good Standing for your BC business, verifying your status with the Province of BC.
