The Surrey Board of Trade appreciates the Premier’s consideration of our advocacy to support business by extending the temporary layoff period to 24 weeks, expiring August 30, 2020.

“The business community is afforded more flexibility and certainty with this extension,” said Anita Huberman, CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade. “In times such as these, excessive and unnecessary red tape should be reduced as much as possible, and today’s decision by Premier Horgan made a difference to help business.”
