The 5th annual Metro Vancouver Black Business Expo will return on Saturday, October 24, 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs, innovators, community leaders, and residents from across the region for a vibrant celebration of Black excellence, entrepreneurship, culture, and economic empowerment.
Hosted by the Yoruba Social and Cultural Association of BC in partnership with the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade, the Expo will take place at Surrey City Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Expo has grown into one of the region’s premier platforms for Black-owned businesses to showcase products and services, build visibility, create meaningful connections, and access resources that support long-term business growth. Attendees can expect an exciting afternoon featuring exhibitors, networking opportunities, cultural showcases, community organizations, speakers, panel discussions, and interactive business resources.
“We are proud to celebrate the 5th Edition of the Metro Vancouver Black Business Expo, a milestone that reflects years of resilience, innovation, and community growth. From creating opportunities for Black entrepreneurs to fostering business connections and economic empowerment, the Expo has become a powerful platform for impact,” said Adebola Ige, President of the Yoruba Social & Cultural Association of BC. “This year, we are excited to showcase our Founders Launch initiative and invite the community to join us in supporting local businesses, building partnerships, and advancing a more inclusive and prosperous future.”
“The Metro Vancouver Black Business Expo continues to create important opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners to connect, collaborate, and grow,” said Joslyn Young, CEO of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade. “We are proud to partner on an initiative that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusion, and strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem across Metro Vancouver.”
Since launching in 2022, the Expo has continued to expand its impact by supporting Black entrepreneurs and increasing awareness of the innovation, talent, and leadership within the community.
