Extortion is challenging our sense of safety in Surrey – Surrey Now Leader

The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade (SWRBOT) and the City of Surrey are pleased to host a Preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Business Engagement Event to connect local businesses with resources, insights and planning tools to maximize the opportunities presented by FIFA World Cup 26™, coming to Vancouver and surrounding communities in June-July 2026.

The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade will host TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn for his first address to the business community in 2026 on Tuesday, January 13. Mr. Quinn will provide an update on the work underway to improve transit and transportation in Surrey and White Rock. This includes what TransLink is focusing on next and how the business community can participate in shaping a major project in the region.

As 2025 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly transformational year for the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade.
