- Ukrainians in Canada can check current status & supports via IRCC’s Ukraine page.
- Those who arrived by March 31, 2024 may extend work/study permits in Canada until March 31, 2026.
- The Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) helped more than 300,000 people come to Canada.
Canadian employers can support displaced Ukrainians by hiring through:
- Job Bank — special postings for Ukrainians
- Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) in partnership with Talent Beyond Boundaries and Jumpstart Refugee Talent
- The Canadian Chamber of Commerce highlights how companies can help (employment, housing, donations, sanctions compliance).
- The Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) connects Canadian businesses with trade and rebuilding opportunities.
