Winners to be announced at the Climate & Competitiveness Forum on October 2
On Friday, October 2, the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade will announce the winners of the Surrey & White Rock Environment & Business Award at the 20th annual event. It will be an inspiring afternoon dedicated to celebrating the remarkable efforts of businesses that have made significant strides in environmental stewardship. This year’s finalists are:

British Columbia faces a defining challenge: how to sustain economic growth, meet rising energy and infrastructure needs, and remain competitive while responding responsibly to a changing climate.
This forum will explore how British Columbia can manage competing pressures and find practical pathways that support both economic progress and environmental stewardship. Discussions will focus on strategic investments in infrastructure, energy, trade, innovation, climate adaptation, and resilience.
Bringing together leaders from government and industry, the forum will examine how collaboration can unlock responsible investment, strengthen supply chains, support business competitiveness, and position Surrey, White Rock, and British Columbia for long-term prosperity in a changing world.
