The Surrey Board of Trade has heard of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. We offer our condolences to the Royal Family.
As part of our great nation, Canada, the Queen personified the country and was the personal symbol of allegiance, unity and authority for all Canadians. Legislators, ministers, public services and members of the military and police all swear allegiance to The Queen.

The Surrey Board of Trade and South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce are deeply concerned about the recent wave of violence and extortion calls targeting South Asian-owned businesses in our community. We are hearing directly from businesses that they are afraid—for their safety, their employees, and their livelihoods. Many feel unsupported and are unsure where to turn. This is unacceptable.
