The Surrey Board of Trade and South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce are deeply concerned about the recent wave of violence and extortion calls targeting South Asian-owned businesses in our community. We are hearing directly from businesses that they are afraid—for their safety, their employees, and their livelihoods. Many feel unsupported and are unsure where to turn. This is unacceptable.

This historic merger between the Surrey Board of Trade and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce brings together two long-standing organizations into one unified voice for business, innovation, and economic growth. Alongside the launch, the organization revealed its new brand identity and website (swrbot.com), symbolizing unity, progress, and the strength of the regional business community.
