Event Overview

Join SWRBOT CEO Joslyn Young and a panel of business leaders for a timely discussion on Surrey’s growing role as a regional economic driver. Hosted during FIFA World Cup 26™, these executive panel discussions bring together globally recognized founders, investors, researchers, policymakers, and business leaders to examine the industries, technologies, and investment trends shaping the future economy.

Aligned with key moments and BC Business House programming, the sessions are designed to facilitate high-value discussion, relationship-building, and business engagement between international delegates and Metro Vancouver’s innovation, research, and investment community.

Surrey is emerging as one of Metro Vancouver’s most important centres for industrial development, logistics, health infrastructure, innovation, and population growth. Significant investment across commercial development, transportation, health systems, manufacturing, and business infrastructure is reshaping the city’s position within the regional economy.

This session will bring together leaders from development, technology, manufacturing, and consumer brands to explore why Surrey is increasingly becoming a key driver of economic growth, investment attraction, and industrial expansion across the region.

Panelists include:

  • Colin Bosa, CEO of Bosa Properties
  • Kirk Fisher, CEO of Lark Group,
  • John Nicholls, CEO of Delta Controls
  • Gurpreet Arneja, Owner of Nanak Foods.

The discussion will be moderated by Joslyn Young, CEO of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade.
