The 2nd Annual Agricultural Industry Reception takes place on March 2, 2016 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University – Cloverdale Campus. This year the reception is in partnership with the Surrey Board of Trade, the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and the BC Agriculture Council. This reception will focus on the unique needs of the Agricultural Industry in the South Fraser Region by bringing together government representatives, farmers and industry stakeholders. Brief presentations will be delivered by City of Surrey Councillor Mike Starchuk who will speak on Surrey’s Agriculture Plan and Mark Neill, Director of Community Planning, City of Abbotsford, who will speak on AgRefresh – Abbotsford’s comprehensive agricultural lands review.
